Background
CheaprEats Inc. is the world's only end to end (B2B2C) fully bootstrapped start-up (3 years) in the food space that has a strong focus on mentorship & learning. With the app you can order meals on the go while earning discounts and having flexible payment options.
What I did
During my time with CheaprEats I worked with both the marketing and UX/UI departments. In marketing I conducted competitive analysis and continuous research to analyze all sources of data to improve and optimize all digital marketing campaigns including email, social media, web analytics. In the UX portfolio I had my first experience in using Figma to help organize and help design the company’s mobile app and website.

My first time with Figma
For the first few weeks I learnt how to use Figma. I learnt the basics of all the tools, layering, creating components, and prototyping. I was then asked by my manager to analyze the current company website and create sketches of how I think it should be structured. This was my first time “wireframing” an idea.

After getting used to using Figma I was then assigned to work on certain pages on both the website and mobile app. When designing I had to be conscious of staying true to the brand identity, and organizing my work so that the other UX/UI designers can easily manipulate it if needed.
